A replacement new build house in Esher, Surrey.

The scheme involved the redesign of an existing permitted application, retaining the permitted footprint and volume whilst trying to improve the exterior aesthetic and rationalise the internal plan.

The design takes inspiration from the surrounding buildings, many of which are of the Tudor Revival style. It eschews the pastiche of the ‘mock tudor’ style whilst taking the sensibility of the application of decoration, transposing it to an all brick building.

The scheme has been granted planning and Sketch Architects were employed for RIBA Stages 0-3
